![]() ![]() ![]() Please help me by giving some basic not so technical answer. NB: I am very new in this field and taken very few classes. Why that ?ģ) Does this log data taken by kepware is the actual machine output ? Or taken from the PLC program ? Logging Data Consumes Disk Space Both the amount of data and the frequency at. I mean some time it takes (say) 5 seconds, sometime 7 seconds. Prosoft Connect Data Logger Module With Ethernet/IP, DF1, Modbus TC/IP & Modbus RTU Support, 1 x 10/100Base-TX RJ45 Port, Screw Terminal Serial. For more information, refer to DataLogger Option for KEPServerEX OPC Server. ![]() However, from the log data file I am seeing that: the cycle time differs often. But, I could not get from log data file what is: 'Channel', 'Device1' and 'Group1' means ?Ģ) I learned from classes that 'PLC is a hard real time system'. The output is like below: Time Stamp Signal Signal O/PĢ0130407104040.2 1-RBT1_Y_WORK_COMP_RST 1Ģ0130407104043.1 1-RBT2_Y_WORK_COMP_RST 0ġ) What does that 'Channel', 'Device', 'Group', 'RBT1_Y_WORK_COMP_RST' means ? - What I have got from the PLC class presentation is that: RBT1 (which refers a robot) is a machine and 'Y_WORK_COMP_RST' is it's one signal and 1/0 is the signal state at particular timestamp (like 20130407104040.2). Applications for DataLogger may include logging a small set of data to a single table or high volumes of data logging to multiple databases. I am using kepware data logger to collect the PLC log data. DataLogger for KEPServerEX can pull data gathered by KEPServerEX and log it to an ODBC-compliant database including MSSQL, MySQL, PostGRE, Oracle, and Microsoft Access. ![]()
